Stop It! Don't Make Up Imaginary Issues
The comment Hilary Rosen made about Ann Romey is much ado about nothing. Those of us with more than two IQ points to rub together understood exactly what she meant. Having been a stay at home Mom for my daughter's first three years of life and then a work outside the home Mom from then on I was not in the least bit offended. Ann Romney is too smart a person to let herself get used in this way. However, let me be clear, Hilary's point is correct when she said that Ann Romney doesn't know how hard it is to have to raise your kids without all of the resources that Ann had as the wife of a very rich man. The fact that she could choose stay at home Mom as her career says that she had a choice that a lot of women don't have these days. All of this aside, this argument is just smoke and mirrors to distract America from the real issue. There is a War on Women and it is is real.
