Stop It! Don't Make Up Imaginary Issues

The comment Hilary Rosen made about Ann Romey is much ado about nothing.  Those of us with more than two IQ points to rub together understood exactly what she meant.  Having been a stay at home Mom for my daughter's first three years of life and then a work outside the home Mom from then on I was not in the least bit offended.

Ann Romney is too smart a person to let herself get used in this way.  However, let me be clear, Hilary's point is correct when she said that Ann Romney doesn't know how hard it is to have to raise your kids without all of the resources that Ann had as the wife of a very rich man.  The fact that she could choose stay at home Mom as her career says that she had a choice that a lot of women don't have these days.

All of this aside, this argument is just smoke and mirrors to distract America from the real issue.  There is a War on Women and it is is real.  Anybody that doesn't believe that needs to read the Ryan-Romney Budget.  This budget continues the Trickle Down Reganomics that all reputable economists will tell you DOES NOT WORK! These budget cuts will disportionately affect women, especially single women who head households.

I understand that the GOP believes that women shouldn't head up households but we do so live with it boys.  Stop planning budgets that cut health care, SNAP (food stamps), and Pell Grants so that Millionaires and Billionaires get one more tax cut that they don't need so that the rest of us get held further down.  There is no jealousy or envy of rich people with this statement.  I just want us all to have a level playing field. So STOP IT with the imaginary issue of Ann Romney and Stay at Home Moms being under attack.  Don't fall for the okedoke America.  Pay attention to what is really happening and what the GOP is really up to.
