Just Tired

I'm just so tired of the voters who are so uninformed that they all they can hear is that if the President is for it, it has to be wrong. 

All of the economic indicators that are used to measure the strength of the economy are through the roof but according to the Right Wing Nut Jobs on radio and tv the Obama administration is cooking the books. 

I'm so tired of voters in red states who are taking from those of us in blue states but yet they think we're just liberal idiots. Who are the idiots when the red states are the poorest and pay less in federal taxes that they take in aid from the federal government but the hate the government. 

I'm tired of the gridlock in congress because the art of compromise is lost because of the ignorance of the tea party candidates who have been sent to Washington.

And last but not least I'm tired of the so called progressives who let this happen by sitting home on their asses and not voting.

Wake Up America!

Where Do We Go From Here?

Where is the Democratic Party going from the epic loss in 2016? Well that depends on who you ask. Bernie Sanders and his most rabid supporters like Susan Sarandon tell Democrats that we need to bow down to white working class voters and only depend on small donor contributions. According to them and the left wing purists, if we take money from rich progressive celebrities and progressive billionaires like Bill and Melinda Gates then we're no better than the Republicans. Well, as a 57 year old African American woman from Louisiana (one of the reddest states) living in Massachusetts (one of the bluest states) I can look at this question from both sides. The Real Base of the Democratic Party

We now see the outcome of listening to the dopes like Susan Sarandon who said there was no real difference between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump. However, they don't want to own the stupidity they exhibited in the lead up to the 2016 election. As a Black Woman who is about to celebrate her 58th birthday I consider myself part of the real base of the Democratic Party.  96% of Black Women voted for Hillary Clinton. 53% of college educated White Women voted for Trump.  So somebody tell me why in the Hell am I going to listen to this group telling me how my Party needs to change. As the Mother of a Millennial here's my message to them.
