What is the Message of Trump's Rise in the GOP?

If you listen to the Morning Joe television hosts we all underestimated Donald Trump as a Presidential candidate.  I vehemently disagree with them.  In actuality we overestimated the brains of the Republican voters.  Some political pundits get offended when it is said that Trump supporters are stupid.

Well as a fellow voter I can say that I do believe Trump supporters are stupid and racist. The stupid comes from falling for the Trump okedoke without question. Trump has filled his supporters' heads with a laundry list of things he will do for them that he has no ability to get done given the structure of our government.  I say they are racist because they are supporting Trump's tagline of "Making American Great Again and Taking Our Country Back."  These phrases are dog whistles and Black people like me hear them loud and clear.

I don't believe for one second that Trump supporters are just angry with Washington DC.  They are also angry at the Black President in the White House and they have been since he was inagurated in 2009. The Tea Party came out of that racial animus and Donald Trump is playing to it.  When you look at who is attending Trump rallies they are lily white angry crowds.  These people are angry at everybody that looks like me who they perceive have taken the country away from 1950 when Black people were under Jim Crow and had no rights.

In my mind the message that Black and Brown people need to take from Trump's rise in the GOP is to rise up and make sure they are registered to vote and get out and vote for either Hillary Clinton or Bernie Sanders in the general election.  I'm Black and I'm not going back to 1950 so I will not be voting for Trump. Jim Crow is gone and I will continue to fight against his grandson James Crow, Equire.

WAKE UP AMERICA!
