I've Had Enough!

George Zimmerman being acquitted of killing Trayvon Martin not only saddened me but it also enraged me.

To hear a large portion of White America question whether or not Trayvon was suspicious just pushes me right over the edge. Also watching Anderson Cooper's interview with the Juror pushed my blood pressure through the roof. She so clearly identified with George Zimmerman. She even said she felt sorry for both Geoege and Trayvon. She is so delusional that she compares them in the same sentence like she forgot that Trayvon is DEAD!

I'm so tired of trying to make White American feel comfortable with me because they see me as different. Well I'm done with that. As far as I'm concerned they need to make an effort to see others as equals. Whites will be in the minority within 20 yrs or less so they need to stop walking around acting like non whites need to make them feel comfortable with us. 

It's time for us to take control in the voting booth and elect officials who will change the laws so that we won't have any other Trayvon Martins. I've had enough and I'm just done!

Where Do We Go From Here?

Where is the Democratic Party going from the epic loss in 2016? Well that depends on who you ask. Bernie Sanders and his most rabid supporters like Susan Sarandon tell Democrats that we need to bow down to white working class voters and only depend on small donor contributions. According to them and the left wing purists, if we take money from rich progressive celebrities and progressive billionaires like Bill and Melinda Gates then we're no better than the Republicans. Well, as a 57 year old African American woman from Louisiana (one of the reddest states) living in Massachusetts (one of the bluest states) I can look at this question from both sides. The Real Base of the Democratic Party

We now see the outcome of listening to the dopes like Susan Sarandon who said there was no real difference between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump. However, they don't want to own the stupidity they exhibited in the lead up to the 2016 election. As a Black Woman who is about to celebrate her 58th birthday I consider myself part of the real base of the Democratic Party.  96% of Black Women voted for Hillary Clinton. 53% of college educated White Women voted for Trump.  So somebody tell me why in the Hell am I going to listen to this group telling me how my Party needs to change. As the Mother of a Millennial here's my message to them.
