Laying the Foundation

The GOP is just digging themselves a deeper and deeper political hole.  These fools have forgotten that President Obama was re-elected with a large majority and we said NO to the GOP's policies.

Because the GOP held the house in 2012 they feel it's ok that they are ignoring the will of the people. The President is starting to go on the road to remind the country what he stands for and what we voted for.

As Eugene Robinson from the Washington Post said, the President is a lawyer and he is laying the foundation for his case. I agree with Eugene 100%.  The President is leading us toward the 2014 midterm elections as he should be. It is time for all of us who voted for the President in 2012 to vote for him once more in 2014.  Let's give him the House and the Senate he needs to "take back our county."  It's time to put Americans back to work by passing the American Jobs Bill, stop voting to repeal Obamacare and stop trying to pass more tax cuts for the rich. It's also time to clean the Tea Party fringe out of the state houses and legislatures around the country. 

Once again I say Wake Up America.

Enough already. The tea party republicans thought POTUS was going to let them take take down the ACA. Where Do We Go From Here?

Where is the Democratic Party going from the epic loss in 2016? Well that depends on who you ask. Bernie Sanders and his most rabid supporters like Susan Sarandon tell Democrats that we need to bow down to white working class voters and only depend on small donor contributions. According to them and the left wing purists, if we take money from rich progressive celebrities and progressive billionaires like Bill and Melinda Gates then we're no better than the Republicans. Well, as a 57 year old African American woman from Louisiana (one of the reddest states) living in Massachusetts (one of the bluest states) I can look at this question from both sides. Coming from a family of life long Democrats, I'm personally offended by Bernie Sanders and other independents telling us that all of our primaries need to be open so they can take over our party.  This is a non-starter for me. The Real Base of the Democratic Party

We now see the outcome of listening to the dopes like Susan Sarandon who said there was no real difference between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump. However, they don't want to own the stupidity they exhibited in the lead up to the 2016 election. As a Black Woman who is about to celebrate her 58th birthday I consider myself part of the real base of the Democratic Party.  96% of Black Women voted for Hillary Clinton. 53% of college educated White Women voted for Trump.  So somebody tell me why in the Hell am I going to listen to this group telling me how my Party needs to change. As the Mother of a Millennial here's my message to them.
